Mildred N. Ronsse ST. MARYS- Mildred N. Ronsse, 93, died
Wednesday, March 04, 2009 at the St. Marys, Manor. She was born November 12,
1915 at Madison, Kansas the daughter of Vern P. and Mary Myrtle Rake Hoobler.
She graduated from Maple Hill High School. She had lived in St. Marys many
years. Mrs. Ronsse was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in St.
Marys. She was united in marriage to Leo I. Ronsse on August 24, 1940 at St.
Marys. He preceded her in death on June 27, 1992; a daughter Mary Jo Ronsse
preceded her in death on April 2, 2008. Mrs. Ronsse was also preceded in death
by five brothers, Harold, Raymond, Dwight, Albert and Lloyd Hoobler. Survivors
include, four sons, Robert (Darlene) Ronsse, John (Donna) Ronsse, William
(Terri) Ronsse and Perry (Anna) Ronsse, all of Topeka; a daughter, Ann (Ray)
Barthuly, St. Marys; three brothers, Forest Hoobler, Topeka, Everett Hoobler,
St. Marys, and Lester A. Hoobler, Seattle; 11 grandchildren and 16
great-grandchildren. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 A.M.
Monday, March 9, 2009 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in St. Marys.
Interment will be in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, St. Marys. Mrs. Ronsse will lie in
state after 2:00 P.M. Sunday, March 8, 2009 at Piper Funeral Home in St. Marys
where there will be a Rosary at 7:00 P.M. Memorial contributions may be made to
the Immaculate Conception Endowment Fund or Heart of America Hospice and sent in
care of the funeral home. They had the following children:
Robert Leo Ronsse was born in 1941 in St. Marys, Pottawatomie
County, KS.
Mary Jo Ronsse was born July 5, 1944 in St. Marys, Pottawatomie
County, KS and died April 2, 2008 in Marysville, Marshall County, KS and was
buried April 5, 2008 in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, St. Marys, KS.
John David Ronsse was born in 1947 in Wamego, Kansas. Perry Wayne Ronsse was born in 1951 in Wamego, Pottawatomie
County, KS.
He married (D) Colleen Jaye Woods daughter of John Woods and
Frances Sackrider in 1973 in St. Marys, Pottawatomie County, KS. She was born in
1954 in Ft Riley, Riley, KS. They had the following children:
Nichole Kay Ronsse was born in 1973 in Topeka, Shawnee County, KS.
Jason Perry Ronsse was born in 1976 in Topeka, Shawnee County, KS. Ann Marie Ronsse was born in 1953 in Topeka, Shawnee County, KS.
She married Raymond E. Barthuly son of Fred Barthuly and Betty
Martens in 1973 in St. Marys, Pottawatomie County, KS. He was born in 1952 in
St. Marys, Pottawatomie County, KS. They had the following children:
Amy Rae Barthuly was born in 1976 in Topeka, Shawnee County, KS.
Jodie Ann Barthuly was born in 1978 in Topeka, Shawnee County, KS.
William Joseph Ronsse was born in 1957 in Topeka, Shawnee County,
KS.
He married Terri L Droegemeier in 1977 in St. Marys, Pottawatomie
County, KS. She was born in 1958 in Topeka, Shawnee County, KS. They had the following children:
Billie Nadine Ronsse was born in 1978 in Topeka, Shawnee County,
KS.
Tanner Charles Ronsse was born in 1987 in Topeka, Shawnee County,
